Creating Files for Real Audio Streaming

The actual audio file .ra or .rm .ram file (calls your audio file) hyper link in your HTML code for your .ram file
Step 1 You'll need to rename your actual audio file with either .ra or .rm (This only applies if your audio file have a different extension.) Step 2 To create a .ram file, open any text editor such notepad and type: http://your IP address/user_name/audio.ra Note:( Both your IP address and username can be found in your Web Space Confirmation Letter. Can I stream real audio with my CYBER package?
You will not be able to effectively stream audio with an CYBER package. However, this does not mean that you're not able to have real audio files on your site. It only means that the audio file would download first than play.
What compression rate is recommended for real audio files?
To stream your audio file without interruption, we highly recommend you to set your real player bandwidth to 10mbps.
What can I do if the audio sounds like it is being played too fast or too slow?
If the audio sounds too fast, too slow, scratchy, or distorted, change the Performance settings in the Player.
- Select Preferences from the Options menu.
- Click the Performance tab.
- Click the Settings button.
- Click either "Disable 16-bit sound" or "Disable custom sampling rates" to modify the way your player and sound card interface. You may need to play with the settings to see which sounds best.
How many people are allowed to stream audio from my site at one time?
If you are using HTTP Streaming, you can have up to 30 users at one time streaming audio from your site. If you are using Real Server, you can have up to 100 users streaming at one time.
