Q. I just uploaded my site but still see the "Under Construction Page", what can I do?
A. Most probably your homepage that you have uploaded along with your files is called "index.htm", and the "Under Construction Page", is called "index.html". The web server reads index.html first and if not found then jumps to index.htm. To fix this issue, just remove the current index.html leaving your index.htm file in your root directory. |
Q. I can view my site via the IP address and my username that you have provided, how come my domain and e-mail do not work?
A. Most probably your domain name has not yet propagate to our servers, you must have your domain transferred (or if newly registered give it some time to propagate) to our DNS, in order for the domain to work. For the transfer instructions please go to |
Q. How do I obtain my other Mail Boxes/Forwarding accounts?
A. Please go to our Additional Services page located on the left side of every page and select the appropriate link from the given list. Make sure to fill in all the necessary fields, and submit the information, your mailboxes will be setup shortly, and you will receive e-mail confirmation. Please note that you will not be charged for the Mail Boxes or Forwarding Accounts that you are entitled to receive according to your package description. |
Q. How come I can only view the very recent stats and not the previous ones?
A. The way our system is configured is, it processes your daily "access_log" file, generates a graphical representation of it, and then deletes the "access_log". It is done to keep your disk quota low, if you wish to have your log files not deleted for the whole month, you will have the stats generated for the whole month (every day), even though your quota will get filled by logs, send an e-mail to
support@wehostanyone.com asking them to delete your logs on MONTHLY basis. |
Q. I can not telnet into my Cyber Account...
A. Accounts starting from Virtual Servers and higher have telnet shell access, Cyber accounts DO NOT have shell access. |
Q. I can receive, but not SEND email using the settings you provided.
A. Some of ISPs (Internet Service Provider) do not allow 3rd party SMTP settings, and that may cause the problem sending email using our SMTP settings, to bypass this issue find out your ISP`s SMTP setting and have that as your SMTP, but keep the same POP3 setting. In result what you will get is your emails downloaded from your "We Host Anyone" account using our POP, and emails sent from "We Host Anyone" account using your ISP`s SMTP relay. |
Q. What is the maximum number of e-mail that I am allowed to send per day ?
A. You can send as many as 300 e-mails per day if you have any of our Cyber Hosting Package plans, if you have your own Virtual Server, then you have no quota... |
